A flydubai aircraft carrying 180 people was involved in a serious mid-air emergency that triggered multiple distress signals. Tracking service Flightradar24 recorded the plane first transmitting an emergency signal, followed by an unlawful interference signal, and then another emergency signal. The aircraft experienced a rapid descent of approximately 17,400 feet in around two minutes before the first emergency signal was sent. Off-roster pilots and crew members on board played a key role in resolving the crisis and ensuring the safety of all passengers. The incident has drawn attention to the bravery and preparedness of aviation personnel in handling unexpected emergencies.
