Kerala Right-Wing Activist Granted Bail After Arrest Over Rape Remark

Mohandas, a former state convenor of the BJP's Intellectual Cell, was arrested at his residence in Kochi over a controversial remark that 'girls enjoy rape'. He also previously served as an office-bearer of Bharatiya Vichara Kendram, an organisation with close ties to the RSS. The arrest followed public outrage over the deeply offensive statement attributed to him. A court subsequently granted him bail following his arrest.
