Karnataka Police Bans Unauthorized Officers from Giving Media Interviews

The Karnataka Police has issued a circular restricting media interactions to only designated officers across various administrative levels. The order was issued by Director General and Inspector General of Police Dr. MA Saleem. Under the new directive, official communication with the press is limited to a select few authorized officers at state, range, city, district, and special unit levels. The move effectively bars all other police personnel from speaking to the media without authorization.
