MP Farmers Break Police Barricades, Advance Near CM's Bhopal Residence Over Moong MSP

Farmers in Bhopal staged a protest demanding procurement of summer moong crop at minimum support price. Demonstrators breached police barricades and marched to within one kilometre of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's residence. The state government responded by forming a committee to engage with farmer representatives on the issue. However, talks between the agriculture minister and farmer leaders ended without any resolution. Protesters continued their agitation through various demonstrations along roadsides.
