Indian Navy commissions third indigenous anti-submarine warship Mangrol

The Indian Navy has inducted Mangrol, its third indigenous Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft, strengthening its coastal defense capabilities. The vessel is equipped with advanced torpedoes and sonar systems designed for underwater threat detection and surveillance. Mangrol is built to operate in shallow-water environments, enhancing the Navy's capacity to conduct anti-submarine missions in coastal zones. The ship is part of a larger domestic shipbuilding program that aims to deliver a total of eight such vessels.
