India's smartphone exports surge to Rs 2.59 lakh crore by 2025-26

India's mobile phone exports have grown dramatically over the past decade, reaching approximately Rs 2.59 lakh crore by 2025-26. Domestic mobile phone production has also risen around 33 times during the same period. The broader electronics manufacturing sector has expanded nearly sevenfold, with overall exports growing elevenfold. To further strengthen the industry, the government launched the Semicon India Programme, aimed at building capabilities in semiconductor fabrication, packaging, and chip design.
