India's GST Revenue Jumps 15.4% to Rs 2.11 Lakh Crore in July

India's Goods and Services Tax collections surged 15.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,11,205 crore in July. The primary driver was a sharp 29 percent rise in integrated GST levied on imports. Central GST receipts grew 12.3 percent while state GST collections rose 8.7 percent during the month. Strong economic activity and elevated commodity prices further supported the robust revenue figures. After accounting for refunds, net collections climbed 15.8 percent, signalling continued economic resilience.
