India May Revisit E10 Fuel Option Amid Concerns Over E20 for Older Vehicles

India's government is reportedly reconsidering the reintroduction of E10 petrol following remarks by a senior bureaucrat. E20 fuel, a blend of 20% ethanol and 80% petrol, has been promoted by the government to cut crude oil imports and strengthen energy security. India had achieved its 20% ethanol blending target ahead of the original 2030 deadline.
