India Hits 1.07 Billion Internet Connections, 750 Million Daily UPI Transactions

India has surpassed 107 crore internet connections, marking a major milestone in the country's digital growth. Daily UPI payments have reached 75 crore transactions, reflecting the rapid adoption of digital payments among Indians. The government has highlighted that UPI-linked systems have already been deployed across nine countries.
