Patna Students Resume Protests Demanding Release of Peers Jailed in NEET Agitation

Students in Patna have restarted demonstrations linked to the earlier NEET exam protest crackdown in Bihar. The protesters are demanding the immediate release of all students still in custody following arrests made during the statewide agitation. They are also calling for the withdrawal of criminal cases registered against those who were detained. Demonstrators have asked authorities for a verified list of students released and those still imprisoned. A student activist from Siwan additionally alleged that excessive force was used during the earlier round of protests.
