I open-sourced the start button I built for my own PC

My ideas keep showing up when I'm away from my desk. On a walk, in a queue, right as I'm falling asleep. My coding sessions, on the other hand, only ever lived at the desk, on one machine, in one folder. The hosted options can start a session from a phone, but they run in a cloud sandbox on a copy of your repo. Everything I've built up locally, the hooks, the rules, the profile, stays behind.

x402 Tutorial: Pay-Per-Call APIs for AI Agents, No API Key Required

x402 Tutorial: Pay-Per-Call APIs for AI Agents, No API Key Required Every API your agent uses usually starts the same way: make an account, verify an email, pick a plan, copy a key into an environment variable, and hope nobody commits it. That's tolerable for one service. It falls apart once an agent wants to pick its own tools at runtime, because the agent can't sign up for things. x402 removes that step. The server answers an unpaid request with HTTP 402 Payment Required and a machine-readable price.

30 Japanese Names With Kanji, Meanings, and JavaScript Data

If you're building a game, character generator, username tool, writing app, or simply working with Japanese names, you may eventually need structured Japanese name data. Your Repo Has Tests. Can Your AI Agent Find the Command?

An AI coding agent can edit a repository faster than you can review the diff. Speed is not the same thing as a check. If the repository does not expose a command the agent can run, the agent still has to guess whether the edit works. That surrounding system is the harness: the instructions, skills, hooks, tests, CI, and guardrails wrapped around the model. The model is rented.
