Huawei Cloud Recommends Single Landing Zone Architecture for Enterprise Multi-Project Accounts

Huawei Cloud has outlined a best practice for enterprises managing multiple project accounts on its cloud platform, recommending a single, centralized Landing Zone governed by a dedicated Management Account rather than separate landing zones per project. The approach decouples financial billing from security and governance, allowing each Project Master Account to retain independent billing, invoicing, and contractual discounts while joining a unified organizational structure. A dedicated Audit Account is created under a Security OU to centralize log aggregation, compliance monitoring, and threat detection across all accounts using services such as CTS, Config, and SecMaster. Existing Project Master Accounts are invited into the organization and placed under a Workloads OU without disrupting their financial relationships. The guidance explicitly warns against letting individual Project Master Accounts independently deploy their own Landing Zones, as this fragments security baselines and scatters audit logs.
