Heavy Monsoon Rain Causes Road Cave-In Near Gurgaon, Triggers Massive Traffic Jam

Gurgaon was hit by its first heavy monsoon rainfall, leading to significant disruption across the city. A road cave-in on the Delhi-Jaipur highway near Gurgaon resulted in a traffic jam stretching approximately 10 kilometres. Widespread waterlogging further affected major arterial roads, leaving thousands of commuters stranded. Authorities responded by issuing traffic advisories and diverting vehicles through alternate routes. Repair and drainage work is currently underway to restore normal conditions.
