Haryana's DDJAY Scheme Makes Affordable Plotted Housing Accessible in Smaller Cities

Haryana's Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana (DDJAY) provides affordable residential plots in tier-2, tier-3, and tier-4 cities for low and middle-income families. Launched around a decade ago, the scheme encourages developers to establish low-rise housing colonies equipped with essential infrastructure. To qualify, applicants must be Haryana residents belonging to the EWS, LIG, or MIG income categories. The plots are RERA-registered and government-approved, allowing buyers to access bank loans for purchase. This framework aims to make homeownership more financially attainable for economically weaker and middle-income groups across the state.
