Gujarat Automates Cyber Fraud FIRs via National Helpline 1930

Gujarat has launched a new e-Zero FIR system aimed at streamlining the handling of cyber financial fraud cases. Under this mechanism, complaints registered through the national cybercrime helpline 1930 will automatically trigger the generation of an e-Zero FIR. The FIR is then electronically routed to the relevant jurisdictional police station for follow-up action. The system eliminates the need for victims to physically visit a police station to file an initial report. The initiative is intended to speed up the response process and make it easier for fraud victims to seek timely legal recourse.
