Google Pixel Buds update adds sleep detection and tap-to-mute features

Google has announced a new software update for its Pixel Buds 2A and Pro 2 earbuds. The update introduces sleep detection when paired with a Pixel Watch, pausing audio and disabling controls upon detecting sleep. It also adds a tap-to-mute function for calls, but this feature requires a paired Pixel phone. These features, first previewed in August, are now being rolled out to users.
