Gen Dhiraj Seth Takes Charge as India's New Army Chief

General Dhiraj Seth has been appointed as the new Chief of the Indian Army. He takes over in a significant change of guard at the top of the country's military leadership. Seth is notably the first officer from the Armoured Corps to hold the position of Army Chief since 1997.
