Jeffrey Horowitz has lowered the asking price of his Sagaponack property from $125 million to $79 million. He had first tried to sell the estate privately, without listing it publicly. The home was assembled in the mid-1990s for roughly $2.7 million and now includes extensive amenities, among them a private golf course. The price reduction reflects shifting conditions in the ultra-luxury real estate market. Sagaponack continues to draw strong buyer interest because oceanfront land there is scarce.

Man completes 58 half-marathons in 58 days to honour mother, raises over $30,000

Jack Buckley from Wollongong ran 58 half-marathons in 58 days to pay tribute to his mother, who had suffered a stroke. The effort raised more than $30,000 for the Stroke Foundation. He then completed a 58-hour run that brought in an additional $12,000. His fundraising work earned him the Fundraiser of the Year title at the National Stroke Awards.
