LLM code review tool flags false positives and misses critical bugs, study finds.

Language creator tests AI on unseen spec, finds design flaws in 9 of 36 attempts

A designer tested the specification for Kaury, a small website-generation language, on 36 fresh Claude AI sessions that had never seen it. The AI sessions attempted to build sites like a restaurant page or quiz using only the spec file, with no compiler access for checking. Nine of the generated files failed to compile, with errors including misplaced commas, incorrect property formatting, and misinterpreted French keywords. The designer concluded these were flaws in the language design or specification, not the AI, and refined the language based on the results. After adjustments, 18 of 20 retested files compiled successfully.
