Fly IT Solution Outlines How It Builds Software for IoT Products

Fly IT Solution, a custom software company, has published a post describing how it delivers the software layer of connected products, which excludes the hardware itself. The company says such products generally include a device link, an ingestion back end, a user app, an admin tool and an intelligence layer, and that clients often only have the device at the outset. Two delivered examples are cited: an OBD-II vehicle tracking platform with native apps, speed alerts and driving scores, and a Bluetooth Low Energy companion app for an FDA-cleared wearable built for a UK government-backed program. The post emphasizes keeping device state on the server and storing raw data before computing alerts and scores. The company also says a predictive model only makes sense after months of real trip data are available.
