Florida Couple's Animal Sanctuary Grows to Over 180 Cows Across 420 Acres

Erin and Chris Amerman bought a 210-acre farm in 2015 and set up Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary there. In 2019 they added Critter Hills, a 200-acre ranch, to expand their rescue work. The sanctuary now cares for more than 180 cows as well as a range of other animals. It hosts monthly tours and events meant to encourage compassion toward animals. The couple stresses that continuing rescue efforts requires additional space and resources.
