Farooq, Mehbooba Among 60 Signatories Urging India-Pakistan Dialogue Revival

Former Jammu & Kashmir Chief Ministers Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have joined nearly 60 Indian signatories in a letter calling on India and Pakistan to resume peace talks. The letter argues that prolonged hostility between the two nations has cost millions of young people significant opportunities. Kashmir's chief cleric also backed the initiative, stating that dialogue is the only viable path to resolving bilateral differences. The BJP, however, rejected the appeal, maintaining that terrorism and talks cannot proceed simultaneously.
