Faridabad gun theft suspect confesses to drugging and killing cousin

A 22-year-old ITI trainee named Monu was arrested in Faridabad in connection with the theft of 32 firearms from a police station. During interrogation, he confessed to murdering his cousin Shivam last July. Monu and his girlfriend Sarita allegedly laced Shivam's tea with sleeping pills before strangling him. The body was then disposed of in a canal. Divers are currently searching the canal to recover the victim's remains.
