False ghost rumours trigger night-long student unrest at Punjab university

Students at a private university in Rajpura, Punjab, staged an overnight protest after rumours spread about missing female students and alleged ghost sightings. The unrest was traced back to a prank that spiralled into fabricated stories linking the campus to a supposed suicide.
