Tree falls on school van in Mumbai's Chembur during rains, 5 students hospitalised

A tree fell on a school van in Chembur, Mumbai, on Monday afternoon, injuring five students who were subsequently hospitalised. The incident occurred near Heritage Pride and was reported to the Mumbai Fire Brigade at 2:58 pm. All 15 students aboard were travelling in a van belonging to Universal High School when the tree was uprooted and crashed onto the vehicle. Emergency responders including fire brigade personnel, police, a 108 ambulance, and BMC ward staff rushed to the scene to conduct a rescue operation.
