Faizabad lawyers refuse to defend Ram temple theft accused, warn of city blockade

The Faizabad Bar Association has unanimously decided not to represent any accused in the Ram temple donation embezzlement case. Lawyers expressed strong anger over the alleged theft of temple offerings and issued a three-day ultimatum to key figures, including Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, to leave Ayodhya. Failure to comply, the association warned, would result in a city blockade. The move mirrors the bar's earlier refusal to defend accused in a 2005 terror attack case, underlining the gravity of their stance.
