Ethereum Test Network Processes Near 200 Million Gas Per Block Post-Upgrade

Ethereum's Sepolia test network conducted a major trial following a recent upgrade. The test increased the network's processing capacity per block to over 200 million gas, more than triple its previous budget. In practice, sampled blocks used less than half of this newly available allowance. The rehearsal is part of preparations for future improvements to the Ethereum blockchain.
