DJI Drones Aid Nepal Flood Relief by Delivering Food and Recovering Bodies

Nepal has been struck by a serious flood disaster, prompting emergency relief operations across affected areas. DJI drones, already familiar to the region for supplying Mount Everest base camps, have been deployed to assist in the crisis. The unmanned aerial vehicles are being used to deliver food and essential supplies to flood-hit communities cut off by the disaster. In addition to supply runs, the drones are also being used to recover bodies from areas that remain difficult or dangerous to access on foot. The use of existing drone infrastructure has allowed relief teams to respond more quickly and effectively to the unfolding humanitarian emergency.
