Developer Builds PDF Report Tool for NVIDIA SkillSpector AI Skill Security Scanner

A developer has released SkillSpector Report, an open-source Python CLI tool that converts NVIDIA SkillSpector security scan output into formatted PDF reports. The project addresses a practical gap in AI skill security workflows, where terminal output and raw JSON are not always suitable for sharing with reviewers or archiving as audit evidence. NVIDIA's SkillSpector scans AI agent skill packages for risks such as prompt injection, suspicious scripts, and hidden behaviors before installation. Research cited in SkillSpector's documentation found that 26.1% of AI skills contained vulnerabilities and 5.2% showed likely malicious intent. The new tool does not perform independent analysis but wraps existing scan results into structured reports that include risk banners, findings detail, and a raw JSON appendix.
