Developer Builds Local SPFx Factory That Verifies Generated SharePoint Code

A developer has released SPFx Factory, an open-source Node 22 CLI tool that converts structured requirements into official SharePoint Framework scaffolds rather than simply generating plausible code snippets. Unlike AI chatbot-based code generators, the tool runs verification stages covering policy scans, dependency checks, build, and test scripts before accepting output as complete. Key safety features include read-only defaults, static scanning for secrets and unsafe URL patterns, and writable mode restricted to narrow SharePoint mutation patterns. Two sample projects — a Request Tracker and a Leave Request app — passed all local verification gates with zero project warnings. The tool is explicitly scoped to local validation and does not claim to verify tenant permissions, authentication, deployment readiness, or production SharePoint behavior.
