The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches across nine locations in three states targeting Ramnandi Hotels and Resorts Ltd. The company is accused of diverting Rs 58 crore obtained through bank loans using fraudulent reports and personal guarantees. Investigators allege that five properties pledged as collateral were recently sold at prices below their actual value. The ED suspects these transactions were carried out deliberately to obstruct asset attachment and recovery of proceeds from the alleged crime.

CINTAA Dispute: Documents Allegedly Removed From Office Amid Leadership Crisis

A fresh controversy has erupted within the Cine & TV Artists' Association (CINTAA) after actress Kunickaa Sadanand alleged that Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure removed documents from the association's office. Sadanand publicly expressed her disappointment over the deteriorating situation within the body. Police were unable to intervene as no Charity Commissioner's order was in place to prevent the removal. Members of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) stepped in and intercepted the vehicle carrying the documents.
