Delhi Master Plan 2047 Notified: 40 Lakh Homes and Round-the-Clock City Vision

The Delhi Master Plan 2047 has been officially notified, laying out a long-term urban development blueprint for the capital. The plan targets the construction of approximately 40 lakh homes, with nearly 18 lakh of these designated as affordable housing units to be built along transit corridors. It also proposes streamlined redevelopment of older residential colonies and a significantly expanded public transport network. Additional provisions include the creation of new education hubs and investment zones across the city. The plan further envisions unified parking systems and a 24x7 operational city framework to support Delhi's growing population and economy.
