Dehradun teacher dies by suicide; husband and in-laws booked for dowry harassment

A young teacher in Dehradun died by suicide after allegedly enduring months of physical and mental abuse by her husband and in-laws following her marriage in November. Her family accused the husband and his relatives of persistent dowry demands and cruelty. A formal complaint was filed with the police, prompting authorities to register a dowry death case against the accused. The case is currently under investigation.
