Covington Open to Chimaev Fight After Initially Targeting Usman Trilogy

Former UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington has expressed willingness to face Khamzat Chimaev in a potential Real American Freestyle wrestling match. Covington had previously stated his preference for a trilogy bout against Kamaru Usman, but has since shifted his focus toward Chimaev. The American fighter believes his cardio and pace would give him a decisive edge over Chimaev in a potential matchup. Chimaev is a former UFC middleweight champion, making the prospective clash a high-profile one between two well-known combat sports figures.
