Congress hits back at VHP over Ayodhya temple donation theft probe demand

The Congress party has accused the VHP and BJP of trying to divert attention from the ongoing investigation into alleged theft of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The row erupted after VHP president Alok Kumar wrote to opposition leaders asking them to submit evidence supporting their claims. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera questioned why the burden of proof was being placed on critics rather than on investigators and law enforcement. He alleged that the move was politically motivated to emotionally exploit Hindu sentiments instead of genuinely pursuing the culprits.
