Cohens pledge $10.5 million to Philadelphia Orchestra for tours and new music

David L. Cohen and Rhonda R. Cohen have committed $10.5 million to the Philadelphia Orchestra. The gift is intended to finance international tours and cultural exchanges. It will also support new music initiatives around the world. The donation will create a Fund for Cultural Diplomacy to strengthen the orchestra's role as a cultural ambassador. An Artistic Innovation and Discovery Fund will also be launched to highlight composers who are underrepresented.
