The teenager made his senior India debut against England in July before embarking on a successful Zimbabwe tour. He finished as the series' leading run-scorer with 151 runs and was named Player of the Series. Across six T20I innings, Sooryavanshi has accumulated 193 runs at a remarkable strike rate of 189.21. However, former India head coach Rahul Dravid has flagged concerns about how Sooryavanshi's aggressive batting style might translate to the Test format.
