A Badrinath temple employee named Pramod Nautiyal has been arrested in connection with a donation theft case at the renowned Himalayan shrine. The arrest follows an inquiry into alleged financial irregularities involving payments for accommodation, food, and other expenses of VIP guests at the Kedarnath establishment. The Uttarakhand government had directed the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) chief executive officer to take action against officials and employees found responsible.
