Canadian Wildfire Smoke Blankets the US Northeast

Around 100 uncontrolled wildfires are currently burning across Ontario, Canada. The fires are generating massive amounts of smoke that has traveled over 1,000 miles from its source. The resulting haze is now blanketing much of the northeastern United States. The smoke poses potential air quality concerns for residents across the affected region.
