Jammu and Kashmir has revised its compensation norms for security personnel killed in action. Under the updated policy, families of soldiers who die in action will now receive Rs 25 lakh. Police personnel killed in action will have their families compensated with Rs 12 lakh. Ex-servicemen's families will be entitled to Rs 2 lakh under the revised framework.
