Harry Brook sets England T20I run record in home bilateral series vs India

England captain Harry Brook achieved a historic milestone during the fifth and final T20I against India. He became the first English batter to score more than 200 runs in a home bilateral T20I series. Brook also established a new record for the most runs scored against India in a bilateral T20I series. His tally surpassed the previous benchmark of 184 runs held by Nicholas Pooran. The series underlined Brook's growing dominance against the Indian side.

A woman in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, was violently attacked by a group of men following a minor collision between her vehicle and a motorcycle. The altercation escalated into a physical assault, during which the men allegedly slapped and dragged the woman by her hair. The incident drew sharp criticism as a police officer was reportedly present at the scene during the attack. Authorities have since registered an FIR and pressed serious charges against the accused. One suspect has been arrested so far, while a search is underway for the remaining individuals involved.
