Bihar Warns Against Eating Unknown Fish Species Swept In by Nepal Floods

Authorities are urging residents not to consume or sell these unidentified fish until their safety is confirmed. One of the species spotted is the goonch catfish, known locally as Gochita. The government has cautioned that the safety of these fish for human consumption has not yet been verified. Anyone who falls ill after eating such fish is advised to seek immediate medical attention.
