Florida appeals court orders retrial in foreclosure case over late trial notice

Robert Dwayne Harris won an appeal against a foreclosure ruling issued in favor of Nationstar Mortgage, LLC in Florida. The appeals court concluded that Harris had not received sufficient advance notice of his trial, which prevented him from presenting his defense. As a result, the case will be sent back to the lower court for a new trial. The foreclosure sale had already taken place before the appeal was decided. The appeals court nonetheless upheld the lower court's denial of an injunction.

Hulk Hogan's Clearwater Beach mansion sells for $5.9 million after price cuts

The Florida beachfront estate once owned by wrestling star Hulk Hogan has sold for $5.9 million. The property was first listed in January 2026 at close to $11 million and its price was lowered several times before the sale. Hogan originally bought the home in 2012 for roughly $3.33 million. A nearby cottage also changed hands recently, for about $2 million.
