Australian man charged with murder of Thai teen after body found in suitcase

Simon Peter Carman, an Australian national, has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old Thai girl in Pattaya, Thailand. The victim's body was found inside a suitcase abandoned near a railway line. CCTV footage allegedly shows Carman leaving a condominium carrying the suitcase before discarding it at the location. He was apprehended by authorities while reportedly attempting to leave the country. Carman has denied the charges, claiming the girl had behaved erratically and threatened him.
