Ashwin Questions Sanju Samson's T20I Exclusion, Hints at External Selection Pressure

Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has raised concerns about Sanju Samson's omission from India's T20I squad. Samson was dropped following three consecutive low scores and was subsequently left out of the Zimbabwe series. Ashwin questioned whether external pressures are influencing the national team's selection process, noting that even head coach Gautam Gambhir may recognise the decision as unfair. The former India cricketer suggested that reshuffling the batting order would have been a more reasonable solution than benching Samson altogether. Ashwin argued that players who have shown consistent performances deserve longer opportunities to prove themselves at the international level.
