Boston Blvd. in Detroit, originally built in 1916-17 for lumberman Nels Michelson, was later purchased by Motown Records founder Berry Gordy Jr. in 1967. Gordy resided there during a significant era for the Motown music label before eventually parting with the property. Detroit attorney Cynthia F. Reaves subsequently acquired the landmark for $250,000 and undertook an extensive restoration of the century-old residence. Reaves sold the fully restored mansion in 2017 for $1.65 million, reflecting a dramatic increase in value. The property, recognized by Historic Detroit for its architectural and cultural significance, remains one of the city's most notable links to both its industrial and musical heritage.

SpiceJet ordered to pay Rs 85,816 for delays causing family to miss connecting flight

A consumer commission has directed SpiceJet to pay Rs 85,816 in compensation to a family after flight delays caused them to miss their connecting flight. The airline has been given three months to comply with the order. If SpiceJet fails to pay within the stipulated period, the amount will attract a penal interest of 15 percent per annum. The complainant, identified as Agarwal, also retains the right to seek execution of the order. In such a case, SpiceJet would be liable to pay an additional Rs 10,000 as execution costs.
