Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has urged residents to register during the state's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. He cautioned that those who fail to enroll may face difficulties accessing key government welfare schemes such as Gruha Jyothi and Gruha Lakshmi. The revision drive is scheduled to run from June 30 to July 29, covering updates to voter details across the state. Authorities have set up help desks and deployed party representatives to assist citizens with the registration process.
