20+ Detained at Delhi Anti-Reservation Protest at Connaught Place

Around 300 people gathered at Connaught Place in New Delhi to protest against caste-based reservation in government schemes. The demonstration was organized by a group called 'Reservation Hatao Andolan,' which advocates replacing caste-based criteria with economic criteria for public benefits. Protesters called for quota system reforms to ensure support reaches the most economically disadvantaged, regardless of caste. Police detained more than 20 participants on grounds that the protest was held without prior permission.
