India's first hydrogen fuel cell train has completed approximately 900 kilometres over five days on its inaugural operational run. The train operates along the Jind-Sonipat corridor in Haryana, serving regular passengers on the route. Unlike conventional diesel trains, it emits only water vapour and heat, making it a cleaner alternative. Ticket prices have been kept on par with standard diesel services during the pilot phase. With this initiative, India joins a small group of countries actively testing hydrogen-powered rail technology.

AAI Opens Applications for 389 Manager and Junior Executive Posts in 2026

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released a recruitment notification for 389 vacancies across Manager and Junior Executive positions. The online application window opens on August 8 and remains open until September 7, 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be assessed through a computer-based test that carries no negative marking. While Manager-level roles require a minimum of three years of relevant experience, Junior Executive positions have no such requirement.
