15 Jharkhand policemen suspended after woman allegedly raped inside Gamharia police station

Fifteen police personnel have been suspended in Jharkhand following the reported rape of a 20-year-old woman at the Gamharia police station. Nine officers were initially suspended for negligence before the probe deepened. Two sub-inspectors and a constable have since been arrested. The Seraikela-Kharsawan Superintendent of Police has warned that strict action will follow against those found guilty as the inquiry continues.
